Aw, how sweet! A whole forum to introduce ourselves. Well, um. I suppose that means I should have something interesting to say, but, not unusually, I don't.

Anyhow, a few of you might know the name 'Wenya.' If you know said name from a lil' place called NIMHmuck, that's one in the same. So, hey! I hope all is well in the land of NIMHites! (Or something to that effect.)

By the way, how does one put a picture (are they called avatars . . ?) under one's name? I may know my way around a MUCK, but this is only forum number 2 for me to be a part of, online. (Ah mi Dios! A newbie once again!) And since Marcus was kind enough to draw a cute lil' Wenya-squirrel, complete with tongue sticking out, I thought I'd put her to good use.

Welcome! It's great to see you here, Wenya!

Anyway, the avatar thing can be changed by clicking on the Profile link near the top of the page, scrolling down to the avatar section, and then uploading an avatar that you have saved to your own PC to use. The avatar needs to be in GIF or JPEG format and be less than 100x100 pixels in size. In the case of the pic you mentioned, you'd need to save a copy to your hard disk, and resize/crop it to fit.

A reasonable reason for posting. However, since the -last- post was made in Mar 05, it's been a year without any posts. Its well long and dead. At least for me, as a rule of thumb, unless I can't contribute something of significant value to a old or 'dead' thread, I don't resurrect it. That and one should probably be a bit more frugal on -which- posts get resurrected.

Of course, that's just my opinion, and you don't have to listen to it if you dun wanna! Beauty of a free world, huh? ;)
