I don't know why, though. Probably because he was a victim rather than true villain...

I was never under the impression that Martin was a true villain either, but I wouldn't say he was a -total- victim. He had a big head and was very impulsive, and it got him into trouble with NIMH. He was more foolish than villainous.
But seriously, accepting that they did go through with the whole "Martin-is-the-bad-guy" thing, they really could never find a more perfect madman than Eric Idle to play him. Best. Crazy. EVER.

Nice to have you here, FS4M. You're obviously more of a NIMH 2 fan than most of us, and that's cool. I'll even admit some aspects of it are at least okay, especially the Jenny character, but overall, as a legitimate sequel ligagli
