Get a little emotional while listening to the soundtrack/ music of the film?

I've always loved the music and it still resinates with me even now, after owning the soundtrack for at least a year and a half. For me it's one of the key factors in just how impactful the film is.

(To this day I fight back a few tears on Flying Dreams.)

I just love how the the song just sets the scene; sweet and oddly soothing. Thankfully, we are spared the indignity of overblown musical numbers!

Believe me, you are not the only one for whom the original SON soundtrack has an emotional effect upon. For example; when I'm watching the movie and the part where Mrs. Brisby is wandering through the Rosebush comes up, I cannot help but to be drawn into the scene and having a forebodding sense of danger. This despite having seen the film countless times. Of course we all know what happens next... She wanders a little way further until she comes to a clearing deep within the Rosebush. The flowers that had been open to her admiration and delight suddenly become withdrawn and close up their petals. Then WHAM!!! the broad blade of Brutus's spear slams down in front of poor Mrs. B. missing her by just a whisker. The music combined with other elements in this scene all come together to give one a good scare especially if you're not expecting it and sometimes even when you are.

Sometimes I play my CD of the sound track on the way to work, at times I see the action that was going in the music that I hear :)
