Not a remake, a reissue. You know, make it crystal clear, all that stuff. They just shouldn't do what Georgina Luca$ did with the best movie saga ever and add all kinds of cgi crud. It would be kinda nice to sorta revive the craziness over it. Just a thought.

They did actually. There's a 2 disc collector's edition with a remastered widescreen version and director's commentary. It's a pretty good DVD if you can still find it.

It'd be nice if they had a Bluray version of it, though. Still, it's remastered and they did some cleanup so it looks very nice.

The 2 disc set was better than the first one, but I just had to swap the insert out with the first one.
