simons NIMH chat?

hey simon i was wondering the site has a very good forum now a lot of good art work to observe and collect and links and such but were is a chat room were all the members and such can come and chat with one another in person on the spot asking questions to one another and or to you as well? is it possible to start up a chat room with the tool or software you used to make this great NIMH site :?:

Well... The thing is that the forum itself doesn't appear popular enough by itself to warrant putting in a chat-room... It'd probably be empty most of the time. If you really want to chat with other NIMH fans, I'd suggest joining NIMHmuck. Point your telnet/MUli client to:

Host: moomoosecurity.com
Port: 3737

If your system is configured to do so, you may be able to click this link[=telnet://moomoosecurity.com:3737]click this link to begin. You can connect as a guest by typing "connect guest guest" at the welcome screen first, then if you decide you like it, get yourself a character by filling out a character request (just ask another person to help you, if you need it).

Personally I aggree with Simon that the site is not popular enough to werrent a chat room but its' lack of popularity is most likley from the fact that not many people who are into Nimh know about it.

From my own experience I have seen ALOT of Nimh or Nimh related websites and I would have to say that this is one of THE best. I maen it has a great amount of fan and studio art, links to a TON of other great Nimh sites, the site itself has been wondefly done and let us not forget this forum which offers a chance for all of us to talk with each other.

However there is always the issue of security. as we all know when someone post something to somone eles that is offensive provided that the person does not read it before the adminitrater does and get rid of it it proves that a forum is more secure than a chatroom.

I would have to agree with that. Security is always an issue, even if this site was popular enough to warrant adding a chatroom. I'd also recommend going to NIMHmuck. (I'm late!! Didn't see this topic before.)
