That's right! If you ever wanted to know how Mrs. Brisby was drawn, why not watch Don Bluth himself draw her?

Feel free to look at other videos he's made at http://www.youtube.com/user/DonBluthProductions.

Also, I found this neat site as well! http://www.donbluthanimation.com/categoryList.php

It was sure nice to see this behind the scenes piece. Some of the other video clips attached to this link are pretty cool as well. I especially enjoyed the one with Michael Crawford singing "You'll be in My Heart."

Peace :)

Pretty informative. I never noticed how her whole head is one big swoosh before. I like how he has such a unified theory behind the character design.

I remember seeing that video earlier this year, I'm glad to see Don Bluth doing what he loves best. Keep it up Mr. Bluth!

That was seriously magical to see that, and a little surreal. To watch my childhood hero still so enthusiastic about animation, and NIMH, and specifically Mrs. Briz, that's just wonderful to see.

It amazes how deftly he is able to draw Mrs Brisby in such a pose under so little time. I suppose one eventually masters that with a lot of experience and practice, something I need to work on if I ever want to draw like that

It's good he hasn't lost his artistic talent...
