i knew he was an older gentleman, but I must have miscalculated his age. i wonder...if...in his remaining years...he would ever consent to taking part in a proper NIMH sequel.
One can always dream...

I would just like to offer my personal congratulations to Mr. Bluth on reaching the age of 71. BTW; When is his birthday anyway??
Peace :)

I was curious also, so I look the date up on IMDb, he was born 13 September 1937 in El Paso, Texas.

Hey Whiskers,
Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it. I see that like myself he's a September baby although there is a span of some 19 years that separate us.
Peace :D

He's genius, and thus not well renown by average men - that's the fate of all geniuses... He follows his dream of a perfect animation, of bringing good old stories to life - all of his movies are cincere and filled with warmth. He's also close to me because he often turned to my homeland - remember Anastasia and An American Tail! I wish him good health and prosperity and I really hope his work will inspire other dreamers and artists to go on dreaming and creating, no matter the odds!

I've had this question in my mind for some time, and I'd just think it's time to let it out. "Is Don Bluth retired from his job? Or is he still going?

I wonder what condition he's in. Many people that age can be sickly.
