Picture Link???

Hi Seoman,

I was just wondering how I could get a picture linked with my name like you and others on this site seem to have. If you could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it...

Okay, click the Profile link near the top of the screen, scroll almost to the bottom to the place where it says "Avatar Control Panel". From there you can either upload or link to an avatar of your choice. The avatar gallery currently doesn't have any images in it, but I'm looking to fix that eventually.

I just wanted to thank you for your timely tip as far as linking a picture with my name. As you can see, I followed your advice and the result is what you see now. My only problem was in finding something "small" enough to be accepted on the site. As it turns out, I had to specially create this picture just for this purpose. Therefore, at most it is only a temporary picture until I can find or create something more suited to the site. Thank you once again...

Hey NIMHmanic,

I have some spare avatars, about 99x99 pixels and 3to5 kb, jpeg. So they will fit to the avatar in this forum, I have 3 of Mrs Brisby and 3 of some other mice, If you are interested let me know, maybe I could E-mail them to you and see if you can use them and if you don`t like them you E-mail me your favorite picture and I will see if I can crop & resize to avatar size. :wink:

Here is one of the avaters , the only way show one was to put it on may avatar, I can not get the image thingy to put them here from my pc.

Also I found a few more in my files.
I will keep that avatar up there till you see it then it off.

I will PM you when i get off work and give my Email address.

I have seen the avatar and I must say that I happen to think that it is a nice shot of Mrs. Brisby. She happens to be my favorite character in the film BTW. I'd love to see what else you've got so that I could make my decision based on more than just one picture. Hope to hear from you soon...

I`m glad you like it, Mrs Brisby is my #1 character too! She is a little sweet heart.

I have found more avatars while cleaning my files and would like to show you them all but I can`t bring them all up to the post in the forum, unless simon or any body else knows how to do it, I will have to send you them all by E-mail. I sent you a private message in the forum here with my E-mail address that way if you can send me your E-mail address by the way of private message in the forum to me whiskers57 or to my E-mail address so our address`s will be out of public view, that way I can send you all the avatars (about 12 so far) by E-mail to you and you can pick one from there.

I put another avatar that I will be sending you on my avatar, it`s kinda NIMHY it was my #2 choice but I chose Kati the magical kitty as my avatar. I have a more close up shot of this one also that you are seeing now, a kinda head/shoulder shot .

I have made all these avatars to fit this forum`s avatar spec.`s
