Yo.
As Mal would say this may seem like a silly idea but I like silly ideas.
I have often thought: If I had the chance to speak to any Nimh character what would I say? Which (as you may have guessed) has lead me to post this topic.
What would you say to any nim character and why?
Personally I would ask Mrs. Brisby:
What is your first name? (For obvious reasons)
How exactly did you get so much wood in the house?
Did Johnathon teach you the "Flying Dreams" Lullaby?
As well as other things...
I would also ask Nicdeamous:
Where exactly are your ears?
What is your afiliation with the Great Owl?
How did you make the Oricle?
There are alot more questions I could ask to alot more characters but U just wandered what you guys thought.

OH.... uh, I'd have a bunch of questions for Nicodemus, none of which I can relate with any confidence..
Maybe a few questions for the owl... Hmm... Excellent post Jam!

Hehehe, that's pretty funny, Jam. You would also have to Teresa where her ears are also.

To Brutus:
Dude, what's up with the attitude? It's not like you couldn't have just asked the mouse to leave.
Cheers!

I'd say to Jenner:
"Duck!"
I'd also have to ask Nicodemus and the Great Owl whether they go to the same hairdressers.
Also, I'd like to ask Mr. Ages lots of really annoying questions to see how angry I can make him. Can I touch that? What about this? Whys that bubbling? What does this button do?

I try not to make short posts but I just -have- to say this...
LOL!!!!
Gah, I need to start being more creative about that sort of thing. I'm falling behind the only group I fit in with.
I'd have to ask Nicodemus where his other two fingers were when he was escaping from NIMH, to name one that I'd completely forgotten about.

I agree Mal, the movie had Brutus as a pure "nasty" but as in the same story in the book "Mrs Frisby and the Rats of NIMH" It had a chapter named "Brutus"and in a much better manner Brutus did ask Mrs Firsby to leave and also During that time he had a conversion with Mrs Frisby at some length.
As to to what would I say or ask first I would love to check out and ask the rats they how put together and got working the small motors to use as they needed (for vent fans for the rose bush colony and the like ) and about the other things they got off of the toy tinkers truck.
Next, I would ask if Mrs Frisby/Brisby is free to do lunch, I would love to just sit chat with her. :)

I mean that under the big bow on her head there are no signs of her ears anywhere. Just a curiosity.

Lol, me too. :)
Then I'd ask The Owl weird questions until I found one he couldn't answer. (just something I think would be fun. Find out just how wise the Owl really is!)
And I'll think of more later.

Domo!
This is a really good question. It seems like some people want to do the same thing, but I want to just "chat" with Mrs. Brisby. She is my favorite character, and she is probably the best person to talk to in the movie. As long as I don't make her sad, I would ask questions about Johnathan. He's one of my favorites also.
