Not very active?

I was browsing around in the forums and to me it just seemed like It's not very active at the moment. I could be completely wrong about this but it seems like most of the recent posts in most of the topics around here are at least one or two days old, and there doesn't seem to be many new topics. I have also been looking around in the fan art galleries and there are some amazing artists along with a boat load of artwork, some of wich seemed to have been posted around the same time. But from my perspective things seem a little inactive right now. Was there some big exodus at some point or something, I'm not really being serious on that note, just curious is all. I'm still sticking around even if there aren't very many active users, to me this is still a cool place. So are the galleries and forums a bit of a ghost town right now or is it just me?

I would say that there has been a bit of a lull, yes. A number of the regulars have been busy or away for the summer on the fan-art gallery and here on the forum, hence the relative lack of posting. I think it tends to happen every summer.

But we never fully die. Most of us talk on messengers and the MUCK as well.

Some animation forums that I am a member of is finding the same thing, we slow down towards summer, we enjoy our fandom to be sure, but we also have real lives to live, I wish the second was not true, but life goes on :?

We need new fant art ( by myself ) and other great artists.. People generally respond well to that sort of thing.

Nope, we're never quite dead. We just move more quietly than some groups. Rodents, y'know.. :P ;)

I guess some of the lull in activity would be that I have been awa for a while. Currently, i'm working at a print shop. I guess i really don't have the time to waste on the net.

Our home server has been down for almost a week now. So it would explain my general absence.
Hate to burst some bubbles, but I think I'll be staying awhile this time.
