Colors and imagery

One of the great things about TSON is how the use of color and texture really added to the mystery and wonder of the movie. Staring with the first image, with shades of blue and black and sparkles of light. Was it some secret corner of Nicodemus' lair? Perhaps a visualization of the power of the Stone?

Another one that stands out is at the end, when we see the credits scrolling over a scene that resembles clouds. But it's sort of a tan-yellow color, the wrong shade for clouds. I really wondered what it was supposed to represent when I was younger. Another example is the mysterious blend of darkness and colors seen here and there as Mrs. Brisby walks through the rosebush.

One thing I've always notcied about that scene is that Mrs. Brisby's fur color changed to almost a blonde color than her usual light brown.

I've also all of the exquisite mix of colors in the backgrounds, which I have futilely tried to capture in my works. Speaking of which, is it all right to link my Deviantart page on this site? I have several NIMH woks there.
