I wonder what became of this? Team Deathmatch with NIMH characters doesn't sound right. I can't see a competitive multiplayer NIMH game ever being successful. Though it would be funny to see Mrs. Brisby spew out racist and homophobic gibberish like a 12 year old who hasn't had his jewels dropped yet. A better option would be a single player story with co-op support.
You know what would be cool? A prequel to NIMH that's a video game. The Wondering Days offer many possibilities for a video game. You can start with an escape level and go from there. Playable characters would include Justin, Jenner, Jonathan, Mr. Ages, Nicodemus, and Arthur. You can have co-op support for up to 6 people and have adventures in the outside world.

I've never played any of those Lego games, so I can't comment on that. However, I think fan made sequels, especially the Paul S. Gibbs' sequels should stay away from any NIMH game.

Actually, I take that back. A game about a mouse and four rats gathering intel about a government funded project would be really cool. Of course, you would have to deal with Jonathan's bipolar disorder by giving him a hug and a Twinkie every 30 minutes.
A Secret of the Stone game would be cool as well, but I dunno how you would go about doing it.

I take it you don't like Jonathan too much?
I really gotta finish that fanfic. :x

Not at all, he's my second favorite character. The shrew being the first. He's the most ambiguous character, yet the most important. You would have to read Rats of Thorn Valley to get the bipolar disorder joke.

I just meant a NIMH game with the LEGO engine. Not with the lego characters or anything like that.

They're are other ways. Like having them fall to the ground and respawn next to you a second later.

How about if Timmy to the rescue was an extra level and instead have the sequel be entirely original instead of being based on some crap
cash-in.
