Maximum NIMH is no more.....................................

I tried to reach that site but, it said that it ended 6/25/06.
Well I guess this is the part where we say, "You did so many things on your site, BadBird. Good job."
This is possibly the most disappointing things that ever happened to a NIMH site.

yeh, I did too and it`s gone, I enjoyed being on his message board (same as a forum) for some time, and I will miss his site with the off beat humuor :cry: .

I did get a hold of and got the OK to use a very few of the fan artist works, comes up to 4 pics in all, that I`ll put on my site soon. Man, I should have acted sooner, I hope all that fan art is not lost.

Goodbye maxNIMH, Its been one heck of a time, I`ll never forget :) .

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am a bit mad about it. I mean in his december update he did say he would continue but then say "Oh I decide not to." in his email when I sent him something. If I am being harsh I am sorry but I feel he just up and lift us.

I remember that Jyan, In away I was mad also with you all, but one must come to terms that he knew he could go no longer, he did fight in with him self to keep it going for a bit more but in the end he said was it worth it?? he had to close shop, as you and I know :cry: .

I just found the site like three or four days before that date.

I didn't 'get' a copy. The 'wayback machine' is an internet archive that archives other websites every so often. I just did a search for www.maximumnimh.com on http://www.archive.org 's 'wayback machine' and it came up with all the previous 'archives' of maximum NIMH it had archived in the past.

Same here, thanks Xavier, there is some bits and pices missing , but better than nothing :D , I`ll down load the fan art pics and try to get a hold of these fan artist (some I know) and get the OK to post their art on my site .

i did download a bunch of stuff and put it on disks. Fan art mostly Hope I got all of my favs..

Oh a long time, I had been there for at least when Badbird put up the new board. At first things were great, a lot of traffic but but then most lift for some reason.. Then some troll started to put up nosince posts.. Think he posted links but in a forian langage.

Well, I joined about 2 years ago and you where already there Jyan, even before I joined, I would see your posts.

Yes I know what you are talking about, this 'whoever' seems to act like a 'Bot' and would take up pages of the forum writing nothing but jibberish, this troll did not stop at the Maxnimh board, remember the NIMH forum we went to? and had our RP at, some time back, well he`s there now, doing the same thing, check and see,
