Okay, i'm not the most computer literate person out there, so i'm asking for some tips on learning photoshop and/or adobe illustrator. I've never worked with these programs before, so i need help figuring the software out. I'm trying to figure out how to color my artwork, but i'm have never worked too deeply with computer coloring sofware other than paint. All i need is to get started, i can usually figure out the rest from there.
Thanks
Simon

Another promising-looking tutorial that I've seen recently is here:

I use Photoshop Elements v3.0 myself which is sort of a "lite" version of Photoshop. As to your query, my answer would be to open the "Editor" section where you'll find a whole gaggle of tools and features to enhance your pictures. By simply clicking on and dragging these features, one can add colors, move the subject to a different area of the picture, change the background, etc.
I have since upgraded to v4.0 as of yesterday. Hopefully with this new version, I'll able to expand my creativity as far as manipulating images are concerned (maybe even creating something worthy of the fan-art section).

I also took the Al's Photoshop Tutorial to learn inking and coloring, it's great and fun.
Thanks guys. That's what i was looking for. Hopefully i'll have a couple color pics in the near future.
