Things can only get better for this place. I don't know how many NIMH fans there are out there but we've got 119 in this forum alone. That's a good number but I feel this forum could be a whole lot more. That could be a possibility if more topis are created and more people come in and post. Not that nobody does for this thread has five pages but I feel there can be a lot more. From the mouth a NIMH fan, I would love to see more topics, discussions, and especially fanfics. Whenever I come here, I'll add what I can to any topic that's currently being discussed or I'll simply create my own topic because I have a lot to save about the movie and I'm about to read the book too :)

Anyway, point to this topic is, things can only get better for this place but it'll need help to go down that road. For those who feel like posting, what do you think? What does this site need, what could you add, and how do feel about this site right now?

As long as it doesn't get too big! I kind of like the forms and the muck 'cozy' :). However, more people is always a good thing!

You're right Whiskers57. One of the Moderators, Gabriel, had joined in 2003 and only has two posts. I wonder if he moved on.

Oh, Gabriel is a -HUGE- NIMH fan. He's got a pretty impressive collection of original NIMH cels from the movie. He's just a pretty busy fellow IRL. :(

Knowing that this was original Storyboard art from the film was enough but when I saw that Don Bluth signature, it had to be mine!

This picture was a part of an all out bidding war between my and another user. There were six other pics and I wasn't leaving without one of these. I win :D

On that note: good show Lightindark76 I`ve seen the first one on e-bay lidrool, licks chopsli :D

I do not have a storyboard yet and hope to get one soon to add to my collection, I know well the bidding fight that can happen.

The one signed by John Pomeroy was a fight to the death on e-bay.

There's got to be hundreds of thousands, maybe more than a million of cels made for NIMH. I'm sure you'll get one someday. :)

I do not think that any form of language could say what I felt when my frist NIMH cel came in the mail. :D , I was between tears and joy, my first real part of this movie that was used. And the storyboards included play a great role, when you read Don`s books all parts work together to make a classic!!.

Gack! Well... three about the subject at hand; only one of which, however, is written by the big man himself. I haven't had the oportunity to read his daughter's additions yet, but they do "sound" promising, even if the covers of the books resound in tones of "this book is for cmall children." We'll see. I'm looking forward to reading it.

Oh! Whuskers, btw, remember that website I was working on? Good news! I hit the motherload with stuff on Robert C. O'Brien. You'll love it, I'm sure. Maybe someday soon I can have that thing up and running. We'll see.

leejakobson, I do hope you know there is only one of those in this world.
But they worth about $99.99-$300.00. :shock: And yes, getting a job will help get to your goal. :) Besides, I only have $296.14 total.

actually if i got a job now i would end up making less. any way its not so much that i dont understand the price its i cant spend the money i am in a bit of finacial tie up.it basically means that for a while i wont have no extra cash flow.

They both came and they're awesome :D

I want to go on ebay and by everything that's NIMH but what's the sense in that when already have what you want :)
