Fan Name

What do you guys or what should you call yourselves? I mean, what would be a great term for our little community of fans? Fans of NIMH, Brisbyphiles, or what?

I have a term for anybody who likes Don Bluth movies in general.

That's actually what we usually call ourselves at the NIMH MFM meet. We're known by some of the staff as the "NIMH Nuts" which I think was pioneered by Gabriel? He's the first one I ever heard use it, anyway.

well the thing is it sounds to much like something someone would used to make fun of us. i got that enough as a kid.

I think that NIMHphos was intended to sound like nympho. I also doubt either suggestion was intended to be an actual contender for 'best' name.

I have been, and will continue to use 'NIMH Nuts' personally. ;)

I think the point of a 'fan community' name, is more intended to put a easy 'label' to the group of fans, not insult the group. I would consider 'NIMH Rod' to be an insulting term. At least given from the word it is derived from, according to the dictionary.

Not all of us where childern when we first saw it, in 1984 I was 25 years old, and was hoplessly lost in this classic, changed my life?, you bet. Lots better than the Mickey Mouse Club in the 50`s and 60`s 8)

I understand what you mean, although it wasn't the first place my mind went upon reading NIMHkids & NIMHChildren.
