Came across this image, which was labeled as 'Nicodemus, the rat, juggles in the lobby of the hotel' at the MFF con held in Chicago.

Doesn't really much look like the Nicodemus we know... does it? heh.

No, I think you're right. It doesn't look much like him. Hmm. Fursuits (and suiters, if I may be so bold) are weird.

I personally know a few fursuiters. Some of the nicest people I've met. Frankly, In my opinion, it's the 'normal' people that worry me. A lot of times, fursuiters will donate time to charity events. Especially child related ones. Which is a good thing, considering how most consider their hobby 'weird.' :D

i see nothing wrong with dressing up in a fursuite custume for charity advents and i frankly agree with xavier on we should not judge him. his custume I dont like but i dont think it fair to judge someone on just what they are wearing.

I don't think there's anything wrong with dressing up in a fursuit for a hobby, or for charity events. I think judging fursuiters because they enjoy dressing up in a costume not much different for judging someone on the street for what kind of shirt they're wearing. In either case, they're not hurting anyone, typically.

once again i think our points are the same. i know what it means to be judged off your attire and i thought at the time i was judged and i still think now that judging somone by what they wear is rediculas. it is not the suite that makes us who we are but rather our choices that make us who we are.
Mmm, that...doesn't seem much like Nicodemus. Neat design though, perhaps a jester of his?
I honestly don't understand why people still have some sort of 'peeve' about fursuiters and their way of designing suits for conventions, hobbies, and parties. I mean sure some may be odd to look at, but I'm sure they've put a lot of hard work into making them, and just because they mest up on some design flaws or try to put up an effort in making something they like, that automatically makes them 'weird'?
