NimhMUCK characters

Having been frequentng this site ever since my renewed interest in The Secret of NIMH drew me to the internet, I often marvelled at the various fan-artists out there, and the character they depicted. My immediate thoughts on seeing the Fan Art tab on the main page was "How wonderful! Pictures of all my favourite movie characters!" A closer inspection, however, yielded quite different thoughts. "Rapta? Who's that?" and "Vincent? M'kay, then." were common until I hit the realization of "Oh. Those are RPG personae."

Still, the thought lingered with me that, although I have a general conception of the RPG characters' roles and tie-ins with the original NIMH story, I have nothing absolute: some guesswork and the occasion expalanatory post by a kindly MUCK player. What I wondered was if a history (and possibly even a family tree) had ever been recorded online as to the overall arc of the various fanfictions, MUCK characters, and original characters from the Don Bluth film. If such a thing existed, it would be tres cool indeed to see how everyone is related to everyone else.

Well, there really isn't an official family tree. (BTW, most of these characters come from NIMHmuck, a text-based online RPG). But I'll take a stab at some of the more well known ones.

Jenner was married to Victoria and had Oscar (now Racso) and Dora (now Rapta). Rapta is currently Balak's mate.

Simon, Newton, Gabriel, Naomi and Fiona are siblings (parents have not really been determined for them). Hiro is their cousin, as is Zachariah (IIRC). They have an uncle named Titus, who is a Blacksmith (IIRC).

Hecate and Helios are brother and sister.

Vincent has adopted Tzolkin and Ayanna (siblings) as his family, since they were orphaned. Eugene is their actual uncle, they have found.

Brendan is Gabriel's adopted son. He's also Cynthia and Timothy's friend.

Darla, Vera, Ranger (aka Victor) and Cluny are siblings. Darla is now Rapta's apprentice.

Brutus is married to Jordan.

Nathan is Sullivan's son. Xavier is his adopted son. Sullivan has a brother named Edmond.

Joseph and Anita are husband and wife. They have the following children: Clare, Benjamin, Rebecca and Matthias.

The rest are basically unattached characters at this point, though future relationships may be revealed. If I've made any mistakes or if I've left anyone out, don't hesitate to add to this.

That`s neat, I did not know of so much going on with the NIMHMUCK characters.

Hiro and Fiona are Richard's alternate parents

Let me see if I can add some NIMH-MUCK character information for the characters I play.

Brutus' father is Titus, who is a blacksmith, carpenter, architect.

Brutus' mother was sometimes referred to as "Eve" and has recently been adopted to be played by a different player.

Rapta, as said before, was born to Victoria and Jenner as Dora. She has since suffered a dissociative personality split and re-named herself "Rapta", the female version of the Latin "Raptus" which means "seizure" or "rape". She is a sociopath in the truest sense of the word, manipulative, smart, cruel, and thoroughly insane.

Vincent was born to wild mice and has since been given NIMH abilities by the Rats of Thorn Valley along with a number of other wild mice. Basically, they wanted to try their own version of the "change" through transmission of bloo serum and looked for wild mice volunteers.

Gregory and Cassandra are two other wild mice that volunteered and have since then married.
