New avatar for lil Tenken

Well, finally I spare some time to draw a new avatar 8)

I was caught in one of those BORING family meetings :x so I took my pencil and began some nonsense sketches, and one of those was this little fellow on a funny pose :D . I liked it, so I inked it, add some color and done. :wink:

WOW! , Looks good, does the little guy have a name ?
I seem to see a tad of Louise`s type of wild hair style on him :)

Sure! He is my main character at the NimhMuck and his name is Tenken Maple.

Hehe, actually the hair that Ten has on mi pics is almost the same messy thing than mine! :lol:

Thank you! :) Being surrounded by so many great artists had really helped me to improve my drawing skills. I mean seriously, I started from zero, drawing "sticks men"! :lol: So I want to cheer up everyone who still didn't tried, to take a pencil and let your imagination guide you. :)

Of course, drawing wasn't easy for me (still isn't :wink: ) but luckily I have great patience reserves and more than everything the joy of discovering a new hobby to learn and improve little by little.

Oh! Whiskas is funny, Trot, Tenken, Report to the principal`s office ASAP.
But in all fairness that might be a good start, my character needs a name.
They ask, how does a mouse travel such great miles, Well by men, his means of shipping food and other items, also as in the old ages, where ever men traveled (by ship, boat or UFO mice and rats snuck on).

Actually, you cut me to the quick, my friend. I haven't posted anything on the gallery because I have yet to REALLY test my skill at drawing animated rats and mice. I do mostly still-lifes in charcoal, colored pencil and the occasional (blech) nupastel. I'll work hard on getting a piece or two out so you can see them on the gallery. :)

Do you like fan-fics? Writing is my prime medium. That's where ym true blessing lies, and I have a fan-fic (well, two actually) thatb I'm ready to start posting on the site. I think I'll do that after I take my finals. Five more days 'til FFFREEEEEEEEEEDDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMM!!!
