Heya guys!
After alot of down time (due to finding the right college) I'M BACK!!!!!!!!
To celebrate my great return I have a question for you all!
"Do you find that by appreciating TSoN you have discovered previously unknown aspects of yourself?"
I myself believe so.
Ever since I saw Nimh it rekindelled a creative spark within me which has lead to me furthering my interest in creative writting and music.
Coinsidentally I now have a grade in Drama and performing arts (I can write scripts like that liSnaps fingersli)

Glad to hear that you found the right college :) As for me, well, when I get to that point in my life, I dont really know where I'll wind up going... I should probably get some more info on the colleges in my area, make plans and all... :?
Heh, anyway, to answer your question, I think it has influenced me in similar ways. It has given me inspiration for in many places of the right side of my brain, and even the left! (as Im terrible with numbers and all, thats really saying something) Anyway, there are probably subconscious interests and ideas I found through it that Im not even aware of.
Good to hear that youre good at righting scripts too :D If I tried, Id probably make George Lucas look like a professional at it!

Hmm, not sure how to answer that, as an animation fan since the 1960`s I think that the movie "Secret of NIMH", the book "Mrs Frisby and the Rats of NIMH" and the book and movie of "watership Down" and others, has only boosted my love for animation and books, in fact, storytelling in most genre`s :)

Welcome back!
Erm... not really, I guess. I already know where I'm going, what I like, where my strengths and weaknesses lie, and I've known my purpose in life for so long that every time I find something like the Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, it works as a stimulus needed to direct an already existig line of thought or add zest to a writing or drawing project. Speaking of which, I have two fan-fics I'm working on and making headway with, and one 24" x 36" Prismacolor colored pencil drawing based on another similar story I'm writing (that's gonna take some time to finish, I gaurantee).
