A long, long time ago...
I can still remember
How that movie made me smile. :D
And I knew if I had a place to host
That I could make those people post
And, maybe, they'd like NIMH a little more

On the internet in my abode
With every page that I'd upload
I knew it wouldn't be free
I couldn't hit one more key

I can't remember if I cried
When I finally opened up this site
But something tore me deep inside
The day the posting died

Well, my, oh my, this here NIMH fan site
Is the greatest, not the latest, with a forum; that's right
And the fan art gallery has an album that's tight
But if the NIMH fans don't post soon, it might die
If the NIMH fans don't post soon, it might die...

Oh, do you know all about Mrs, Bris,
And how she saved those rats from a royal fizz
At the hands of some mad scientist?
And do you believe in that bright red stone
With a power that moved the Brisby home?
And how Jenner wouldn't leave Mrs. Mouse alone?

Well, I know that Justin saved the day
And Nicodemus had a bit to say.
"You can unlock any door, it's true,
"But you'll need the right key, yes you!"

I was a big fan of the movie and the book
With a nice computer and the brains to boot,
And then, I saw, it finally took,
But then the posting died.

But I remembered...

Now for eight years we've been on the lam
From the real world and its blessed cram
Of people in their cars and on the tram.
So we sign in with a password and a name
And we discuss how NIMH 2 was so lame
And MGM can keep the same.

And while we talked about it all
The fandom passed into a lull.
Our arguments were null;
Some think that NIMH is dull.
Then the NIMH muck came and it was free
And that's where I'm a wizard playing Timothy
And that gave me an epiphany
The day the posting died.

And we remembered...

Well, the following was large, it's true
And Robin was a friend, yeah through and through,
So I said, "Let's call a truce.
"You say you simply don't have the time
"And in this obsession it can be a crime
"So let's merge our sites and see the fandom work it's rhyme."

So we made a deal and pushed on through
Though this looks like it's a one-man crew
I got the site buffed, it's true
Now the fans can post a fan-fic or two!
And there're still some times when there's not a post
And I used to fear my site'd be toast
But I'll still be the Valley's host
Even if the posting dies

And now I know...

liChuckleli I'm glad you liked it. I promise I don't have ESP or anything, I just though what my response would probably be, and... a hybrid mix of boredom and silliness brought it to fruition. :P

It helps in reminding me of the work and love for a genre that makes a site such as this. Sorry guys, I`ve been away for a bit and where our plane goes, so do we, so you think the Tandy 1000 is dead? We went to a place that the computers looked like that, and NO internet, only gov. stuff there. :? It Is great to be back and I gave those I have met a address to NIMH sites and had feed back from a few, the others may think I lost a few marbles 8) Yeh, so what. Well anywho, I`m tired, ligrabs Brisby plusieli,, I`m hitting the sac. :)
