If your day needs a little pick up...try this on for size.
It's a 3 minute ride as seen from the cockpit of an F-18,
taking off and landing on an aircraft carrier. All of which is set to the 1968 hit music of the Steppenwolf's "Magic Carpet Ride."
crank your sound up!!

Now I know how Mrs Brisby feels, flying with Jeremy :o
Enjoy, :D

I haven't watched it yet because my home connection is tooooooooo sloooooooooow. But I'll watch it tonight when I get off work. Maybe I'll drop by the school.
Hey! That reminds me. To anyone going to college right now: Does the library computer lab have a fast internet connection? At mine they have a T3 line. Right now they're also testing out a faster T line. Unbelievable... but convenient!

Cool, I have a slow connection too, but I played the video fullscreen in my college campus' high-speed connection java cafe lounge and everyone else in the room watched and enjoyed it too. Great video! Breathtaking, kinda makes you dizzy...
It would be so awesome to fly one of those babies!

In Ye Olden Dayes at IU, the entire computer lab shared a BR line (basically a 56k dedicated connection).

Well, I'd imagine that my school has a T3 or something like it, though I've never bothered to investigate that. It's fast, though.
'Course, at home, I have cable internet, so I don't have to go to school to get my fix. ;)

Yeh, at home I have a great internet connection tho it`s not free by any means, but it allows me to work on my site at a good speed.
At work, in the the past two weeks I.T. has been rewiring our old hanger and the offices here at south base, they say we will go from 10.0 mbps to 100.0 mbps. Yay! tho its not a killer speed, it is way better than we had,(being on a computer is only about 10 % of my job), and south base is old, our hanger goes back to World war two.
I ask the I.T. guy if I would be able to get the Thorn Valley site and he said huh? I get that a lot when speaking of "The Secret of NIMH" things. So we will see this tuesday when they fire the system up. :D
