Umm....
It's my birthday tomorrow ^__^ XD ^__^
Bit of a non-sequiter there, but hey...we're all allowed a little sillyness every now and then. :)
To Simon and Tort: Sorry about leaving that discussion there. I kinda lost track of everything...but fear not. When the next big issue comes up, you'll be sure I'll be there to jump right into the fray ;)
Anyways, happy posting everybody!

Unfortunately, we weren't really able to buy any presents this year (not that I wanted anything in particular). I'm guessing the goodwill of others and the sincere charity of my family and friends is enough :)
Anyways, thanks for the well wishes, Tort, and yes, I do consider you one of those friends :)

Really? I'm both sorry and very impressed. :) I've always lived in a relatively priveleged home and environment; the only hardhips I endure are the ones I subject myself to through poor character and decisions. The fact that you are content (a rare jewel in any Christian) is nothing short of inspiring. Of a surety, friends and family should always be the greatest of gifts. :D
Wow! I feel so honored! :D I extend you the same feeling, and in jut another month maybe you could bless me on my birthday, even though I was belated and absent-minded in giving yours late. :?

liChuckle!li No prob! :D I learned that one from my best friend's dad; he used to say that for every birthday he had, and I thought it was a very cool outlook on maturing, you know? I know I'll certainly be using it. I've already inherited my grandfather's and father's receding hairline.

Really? I'm both sorry and very impressed. I've always lived in a relatively priveleged home and environment; the only hardhips I endure are the ones I subject myself to through poor character and decisions.
Actually, my household is somewhere in the upper-middle class range, but a lot of the income is eaten up by education (my sister attends a private school and I go to university) and taxes (they're somewhat higher up in Canada ;) Plus, my mother (who makes the most money, being a banker) comes from a time-honoured tradition of living below one's means (i.e. penny-pinching ^_^).
As for the poor characters and decisions part...that something that really affects everybody, especially me :D
The fact that you are content (a rare jewel in any Christian) is nothing short of inspiring.
Rare jewel? Every Christian, rightly formed, ought to have a requisite level of contentment in his life. :)
Of a surety, friends and family should always be the greatest of gifts.
I couldn't agree with you more :)

Thanks ^__^ I'm be sure to keep that date in mind ;)

18 ;)

lipours some Rogaineli XD
Heheh...worry not. My maternal grandfather is balding, and, well, I'm kinda worried >P
Anyways, I do find concurrance in this talk of internal age. Sometimes, it is better and more fulfilling to just be young at heart :)
