Not sure what to think about this one

Some of you may remember the lovely fanfiction chestnut that was Rangers of NIMH. Maybe you even wondered what happened to the author of that fanfiction at some point.

Maybe you'd be surprised to hear that he's doing a Kickstarter to finance a webcomic[=http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1716370612/the-ballad-of-johnny-briz]he's doing a Kickstarter to finance a webcomic starring his self-insert fanfic character Johnny Briz.

I know I sure was.

Start posting strips first, then beg for donations/shill merchandise later. That's how webcomics work.

Don't suppose there's a 'Here's $5, now go away and never mention this again' option...

I'm pretty sure I've also encountered that same person before, on some RP site, as I recall. I also remember reading about his character made my eyes roll so hard I needed them surgically reattached.

Anyway, good luck to him, I suppose.
