I thought this day would never come, but it has. CBS had interrupted almost every other channel while me and my family were watching our regularly scheduled programs. I really don't know what else to say, but thank god that he's been stopped. Now the military will have to clean out the rest of his followers and supporters.

As glad as I am that that...person is out of the picture, I can't say that I foresee other terrorists getting the message and shutting up. I also imagine there will be a backlash; you can't just knock somebody off and expect to get out clean. Hopefully we'll be able to handle that backlash when it comes.

My thoughts exactly. A large number of peers at my high school were thinking same thing, or something similar. Even though Osama was slain, his followers will retaliate.

This is just one source, but the message is present throughout the internet and news right now. There will be 'retaliation' for the killing of bin Laden. Personally, I wonder exactly how they plan to do this; State-side security is at its highest ever, and the government obviously recognized the possibility of retaliation. They will be prepared, and considering the strict regulations on immigration right now...I wonder exactly how feasible it is that they will make a strong retaliation and how strong this retaliation could possibly be.
